LUMS is recognised not only for its high quality education but also for its strong networks i.e. linking its current students and alumni in a single loop and promoting healthy interactions, exposure and experiences. LUMS Alumni Australia Chapter recently had a social gathering at Coogee Beach, Sydney. Thus, fulfilling their promise of making alumni feel like a community, “A Family” no matter how far away they are.

It was a simple, friendly and pleasant gathering indeed. Our alumni’ truly celebrated and experienced Pakistani feeling abroad. Starting with a delicious BBQ that every chipped in on, followed by a game of cricket with our traditional taped tennis ball. From smiles to random laughter fits to friendly conversations, cherishing old times, creating priceless amusing memories; the event truly was an epitome of success not only on the alumni’s part but also on the part of LUMS i.e. bringing, grooming and holding its graduates as a sensible and responsible community and ensuring that they have a social spark, a glow, a spirit in them.

Reminiscing and rejoicing their LUMS life and sharing their achievements, experiences, successes and even the hardships they faced; this event truly brought the alumni together and fortified LUMS’ name. Hence attesting the fact, that LUMS does not only produce graduates that excel academically and professionally but who excel socially and perform a great part in forming a community.
