Financial Assistance Programm (FAP)

FUMC provides financial assistance to the needy and deserving students as per policy in vogue.

• The available amount shall be distributed among the deserving students on the merit of each case as deemed appropriate by the FAC.

• The Financial Assistance is granted for one year and applications are received as per following schedule:

  • Fresh applications should reach the Student Affairs by 4th Monday   of Feb and 4th Monday of Nov

  • Applications for renewal of financial assistance must reach the Student’s Affairs by 2nd Monday of Feb and 2nd Monday of Nov

• FUMC evaluates and processes the applications of the deserving students to Financial Assistance Committee (FAC), who submits its recommendations of financial assistance to FUI for final approval.

Eligibility:

A student is eligible for Financial Assistance as a fresh case if he/she:

• Is a registered student of FUMC.

• Is not involved in any disciplinary case.

• Has not failed in any subject.

• Is not drawing financial benefit from any other source equivalent to 50% of the tuition fee of that year.

• If the student is drawing financial benefit from any other source he/she will not be eligible for financial assistance of more than 25% of the tuition fee.

For continuation of financial assistance, the student will be eligible if he/she:

• Has a minimum 55% mark in last examination.

• Maintains and improves the minimum marks i.e. 55% marks in the year for   which financial assistance is granted.
