Punjab University Department of Political Science organizes seminar on “Power Dynamics in Indian Ocean”

LAHORE: Punjab University Department of Political Science in collaboration with Center for South Asian Studies has organized a seminar on “Power Dynamics in Indian Ocean”, at seminar hall of CSAS. Commodore (r) Naval War College Naveed Ahmad was key note speaker while Chairperson Department of Political Science and Director CSAS Prof Dr Umbreen javaid and, faculty members and scholars were also present on the occasion. Naveed Ahmad has thrown light on the power dynamics in the Indian Ocean with particular reference to maritime compulsions of Pakistan and described the significance in Iran, China & US maritime strategy. Prof Dr Umbreen Javaid also spoke to participants. In the end a question answer session has also occurred.
