2 schools blown up in Swabi, Kohat
After the incident, the police headed by in-charge of Zaida Police Station, Nazir Khan, reached the spot and collected pieces of evidence. The explosions destroyed the offices of the headmaster and the clerk along with three classrooms. Executive District Officer (Education) Abdul Salam, legislators and provincial president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Asad Qaiser visited the school after the bombing.
Our correspondent in Kohat adds: Unidentified persons blew up a school in a village on Friday, official sources said.The sources said explosive devices planted in the Government Primary School in Kotanri Marchangey village went off early in the day and destroyed the building.
Soon after the blast, the police along with bomb disposal unit reached the spot and collected pieces of evidence. A police official said 20 kilograms explosives had been used in the blast.
