The hospital’s spokesman said the idea of the campaign was to clear the common misconception in people’s mind that cancer had no cure and meant certain death. The SKMCH&RC is trying to educate people that the cancer is curable and how they can support the hospital in its endeavour to provide free cancer treatment facilities to poor cancer patients.

The campaign emphasises the idea that how a nominal donation of Rs. five a day can help the hospital to save precious lives. People can donate through various channels like auto-deduction from their bank account, credit card, online account or by SMS.
