Shaukat Khanum to organise lecture on thyroid tests

LAHORE: As part of its series of monthly Continuing Medical Education (CME), the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH & RC) is set to organise a lecture “Interpretation of Thyroid Function Tests” for general medical practitioners on the 16th.

The main speaker, Dr Syed Abbas Raza, is a board-certified endocrinologist with special interest in the management of diabetes mellitus and thyroid dysfunctions. He is currently a visiting consultant endocrinologist at the SKMCH and is actively involved in research and postgraduate training of the medical residents.

Family practitioners, interns, postgraduate trainees in medicine and medical students doing clinical rotation are the target audience of this free-for-all interactive session.
