Campus Facilities
Although the hospital buildings have been in use for the last few years and have been expanded considerably, facilities at eh College premises are fast developing within the boundaries of Shifa International Hospital.

All the class rooms are equipped with on-line satellite based internet access, over-head projectors, slide projectors, and multi-media projection. Central air-conditioning and heating provide necessary comfort to make the environment conducive to attentive learning.
The Anatomy Department has a spacious dissection hall and there are well stocked museums for Anatomy, Pathology and Community Medicine.
Research is emphasized. A Dedicated and state-of-the-art PCR laboratory has been established to promote research-development and to assist the practicing physicians to give appropriate evidence based treatment. The PCR technique provides disease diagnosis by probing the genome of the causative pathogenic organism. Services offered include detection of HCV, HV, RNA, DNA, and Tissue Typing. The PCR lab of has late has achieved distinction byh perfecting SARS (Co-V) detection technique reflecting its state-of-the-art services. Profts are used to serve the needy at SFCHC.
A “Clinical Skills and Informatics” laboratory caters to the need for acquisition of psychomotor skills and medical informatics, competencies so vital in the context of modern trends in medical education. A special feature of this laboratory is the Periodic Program of Advanced Adult Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Life Support (held under direction of and in collaboration with Life Savors) a curricular requirement of graduating medical students.

Cafeteria
The Hospital cafeteria is open to students, faculty and staff during their usual service hours.
Tuck Shop
The College Tuck shop serves hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, other snacks, and a variety of biscuits, chocolates and candies at economical rates.
Shifa Foundation Community Health Centre
The Shifa Foundation in its endeavor to extend a helping hand to people in need of primary and secondary health care has started a Shifa Foundation Community Health Center. The center serves over 20 union councils/villages/slum areas of the “less privileged” of Islamabad’s 1 million population.
